How do I access my available downloads?

• Your downloads will be available after completing your purchase! The link to download will also be emailed to you. You have the chance to download 3 total times within the next 48 hours after purchasing, via the My Account page. (You will have needed to make an account for this!) You can ONLY download the files onto a Desktop Computer! Clicking the download link from your phone will act as one of your download attempts, and will not work on your phone.

 

Will these presets work in any version of Lightroom?

• The Desktop Presets were made in Lightroom CC 2015.9/6.9, and will work best with that or any older version. The Mobile presets were made for mobile phone photos, and work only on the free Lightroom Mobile App!

 

How do I install the preset packs?

• For Mobile: Follow the Tutorial Video included in your download.
• For Desktop: Once you unzip the download file on your computer, you’ll see a folder with the individual presets inside. Follow the directions below for your computer:

 

How to Install Lightroom 4, 5, 6 & CC Presets for Mac

1. Open Lightroom.
2. Go to: Lightroom (Dialogue) • Preferences • Presets.
3. Click on the box titled: Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
4. Double click on Lightroom.
5. Double click on Develop Presets.
6. Copy the folder(s) of your presets into Develop Presets folder.
7. Restart Lightroom.

 

How to install Lightroom 4, 5, 6 & CC Presets for Windows

1. Open Lightroom.
2. Go to: Edit • Preferences • Presets.
3. Click on the box titled: Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
4. Double click on Lightroom.
5. Double click on Develop Presets.
6. Copy the folder(s) of your presets into the Develop Presets folder.
7. Restart Lightroom.

 

Can I download the presets from the site on my mobile phone?

• No, you must download and install the files on your computer. For the Mobile Presets, you also must first download to a computer, before following the tutorial to install them on your phone & Lightroom Mobile App.

 

Can I use these Lightroom Presets in Photoshop?

• Technically, these presets were not made for Photoshop. But if you Google instructions, you can import them to Photoshop to be used, though they may not work the same. This is not a reason to buy the presets if you only have Photoshop, and I cannot guarantee the presets will work in Photoshop.

 

Can I use these presets on Lightroom Mobile?

• You can purchase any of my Mobile Presets for use in the Lightroom Mobile App!

 

How do I put the presets on my other computer?

• It’s very easy: follow the same install instructions above to get to the Developer Presets folder. Copy your presets to your new computer and follow the install directions for that computer’s Lightroom.

 

Can I give these presets to other people?

• No, these presets are copyright Sarah Loven. Right to use these Presets are granted solely to the purchaser. They may not be redistributed or resold in any form. By purchasing you have read and agreed to the Terms of Use page. Violators of this licensing agreement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We have on file a complete list of all who have purchased or been gifted any Sarah Loven Presets, and will take legal action against those who have acquired the presets by unauthorized means.

 

The presets don’t look right on my photos, what is wrong?

• The Desktop presets are made specifically for RAW images from DSLR cameras. They will be too strong for lower size/lower quality images such as jpegs or mobile phone photos. (My Mobile Presets are made for Mobile photos!)
• Each photo is different, and some editing is usually required! Each photographer shoots a little differently, and some presets are made for specific lighting or color/scenery situations.
• It’s important that you have a basic understanding of Lightroom setting and camera settings to get the best results with the Desktop Presets! If you purchase these, it is your responsibility to know/learn how to use and edit with them! (The SLP team is happy to give advice via email! Or you can watch the Editing tutorial video on the home page.)
